LeanOn vs HEED

Written by the LeanOn team. HEED facts from heedapp.in and its store listings, checked 2 November 2026.

Both connect you one-to-one with a real person who listens — not AI and not a therapist. HEED publishes a lower per-minute price (₹3/min, it says) and also offers licensed therapists in the same app. LeanOn lets you choose a screened listener by what they have lived through, talk by text or voice (voice never recorded), start with 5 free minutes, and is for adults only.

Questions

Is HEED cheaper than LeanOn?

By published price, usually yes: HEED says ₹3/min for listeners. On LeanOn each listener sets their own rate — 15 minutes typically costs about ₹160 including a ₹10 platform fee, and some listeners charge much less. LeanOn’s first 5 minutes are free once per account; HEED’s first 10 minutes are ₹1/min.

Are HEED and LeanOn therapy?

Neither listener service is therapy. HEED also offers sessions with licensed therapists; LeanOn does not — for clinical care, see a licensed professional.

Which is better for relationship or marriage problems?

Both can help you talk it through. LeanOn lets you choose a listener by the experience they have lived through (for example marriage, in-laws or a breakup) and choose a woman listener; check HEED’s listener profiles for similar options.

What if I am in crisis?

Neither is a crisis service. If you are thinking about harming yourself, call Tele-MANAS on 14416 or NIMHANS on 080-46110007 (free).
